With five minutes left, just two points separated the sides, after Seir Kieran were rocked by a Hubert Rigney goal. But Seir Kieran held their nerve to clinch their third Sean Robbins trophy.

Boosted by a gale force wind, Seir Kieran dictated matters in the first half and led by 0-10 to 0-3 at the interval. Rynagh's battled back well, Rigney's goal setting up a dramatic finale.
