Bray Wanderers 2 Shelbourne 2Shelbourne swooped into town on the back of a scintillating European display but relinquished what appeared a certain victory by allowing Bray to score twice in a dramatic second half. Not the performance manager Pat Fenlon wanted ahead of Wednesday's Champions League tie with Steaua Bucharest.

Everything was running smoothly for the visitors in the first half but comical defending late in the game gifted Bray their lifeline.

Bray were brushed aside during an 11-minute opening spell that saw captain Owen Heary and striker Glen Crowe score for the second game in succession.

Just as they did against Glentoran, Shelbourne scored early and Heary, who opened the scoring three nights ago, did so again. He found room at the near post and rose unchallenged to head Ryan's seventh-minute corner past Chris O'Connor.

Shelbourne's fans were soon celebrating again. Ryan's cross-field ball found Ollie Cahill and, after scorching past Paul O'Reilly, he crossed low for Crowe who found the net with a neat flick from close range.

Bray came into the game as the half progressed and Eamon Zayed did well to shake off Heary's determined challenge but he blazed his final shot wide.

The home side did retaliate in the 65th minute. Zayed latched onto Fox's through ball and the striker scored his 10th of the season from nine yards.

Then, in a dramatic finish, Bray levelled seven minutes from time when Colm Tresson found the net.
