Ireland 8-11 (51) Scotland 4-3 (23):For the fourth year in a row, Ireland won the hybrid Hurling/Shinty International Series with a sizeable second test win over Scotland at Cusack Park in Ennis on Saturday.
John Meyler’s side had a narrow lead after a first test victory in Inverness.
Ireland established a healthy first-half lead, with Shane Dooley of Offaly claiming a hat-trick of goals to leave the score 5-6 (31) to 1-2 (7) at the break.
Second-half goals from Barry McFall, Séamus Callanan and Brendan Murtagh added to the margin of victory.
