Derry City will have home advantage for their eircom League Cup Final against Shelbourne in just over a week's time.

The Brandywell, and not Tolka Park, was selected out of a hat today by former FAI President Des Casey.

It has also been confirmed that Ian Stokes will take charge of the September 18th clash.

Shelbourne have already beaten Derry this year, by one goal to nil, and lead the northerners by one point at the top of the Premier Division.
