Celtic have an injury doubt over striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink ahead of their Champions League Group F clash with FC Copenhagen on Tuesday.
The Dutchman suffered an ankle knock late in their 2-0 Saturday win over Glasgow rivals Rangers and is struggling to be fully fit.
Manager Gordon Strachan told a news conference on Monday: "He's sore today. He was able to play on for the last couple of minutes, but the adrenalin was flowing at the time.
"Since the adrenalin isn't there anymore and he has settled down, the ankle is a bit sore and puffy.
"We will wait until tomorrow morning but, if he can't make it, we've got people like Maciej Zurawski and Derek Riordan.
We'd lose a good player but we'll have another one coming in," Strachan said.
Strachan added of their opponents: "They're not a big name in European football, but they are a big name back in Denmark.
"People who know football, know about Copenhagen. Benfica and Ajax are big names, no doubt about it, and they haven't beaten Copenhagen.
"Ajax didn't go through and Benfica played them last week."
Copenhagen eliminated Ajax in the third qualifying round to
reach the group phase for the first time. They held Benfica 0-0 at
home in their opening group match.
Celtic lost their opening group match 3-2 at Manchester
United.
