FAI Cup draw: Cup favourites Derry City will take on UCD in the FAI Cup quarter-finals at the Brandywell in one of two all-Premier Division ties.
The other sees seventh placed St. Patrick's Athletic host the 2003 and 2004 champions Longford Town. Non-league Killester United face a tough away test against Sligo Rovers.
Shamrock Rovers would have preferred a home tie and, according to manager Pat Scully, a chance to take on one of the Premier Division sides, but they will have to settle for a trip to Athlone Town.
Scully is confident ahead of the tie and believes his side will get a tilt at one of the bigger boys when the semi-final draw comes around.
"Its a different challenge," said Scully tonight. "I always like the idea of getting a Premier League team, although people will say well be happy, but its great to play the premier league teams and go in and challenge.
"But weve beaten Athlone already, so weve proven we can beat and that we are capable of beating them. It comes down to the day though, previous form doesn't come into it in the cup.
"Its hard to know what a good draw is. People thought we were going to go out of the Cup against Bohs, but we went through. People will think that we will go through now, so weve got to be careful."
The ties will be played on the week ending October 1st.
