Republic of Ireland fans found out on Monday morning if their ticket applications for Euro 2016 were successful or not.
Martin O’Neill’s side take on Sweden in Paris, Belgium in Bordeaux and Italy in Lille at this summer’s championships. Ireland had been allocated a total of 33,334 tickets for their three Group E fixtures, and demand for them heavily outstripped the supply, with 70,480 Irish fans applying for 275, 190 tickets between them.
This meant Ireland fans had a one in eight chance of securing tickets for France, and on Monday morning a large number of supporters were left predicatbly disappointed when they received the bad news from the FAI, telling them their applicaitons were unsuccessful.
Hadn't applied myself but seeing some of those who've obtained Euro 2016 tickets at expense of regular away travellers would sicken you.

However there is still a glimmer of hope for fans unsuccessful in the original ballot, with the FAI announcing last Friday a further 832 tickets had been released to the association by Uefa.
The FAI have also kept an extra 2,000 tickets in reserve which will be allocated to supporters who missed out despite having a proven match attendance record.
