Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane is recovering from surgery on his Achilles in London this afternoon.
The striker, who was yesterday voted LA Galaxy’s most valuable player (MVP), is said to be comfortable after the procedure.
His wife, Claudine Keane, tweeted a number of images of the Tallaght man before and after the operation and thanked fans for their support.
