Republic of Ireland international Aiden McGeady has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract with Celtic
The 20-year-old had more than a year remaining on his previous deal but Celtic have made no secret of their desire to keep him at the club on longer terms.
McGeady said: "I'm delighted to agree this new contract with Celtic and commit my future to the club.
"I've enjoyed my time immensely with Celtic so far and I'm now looking forward very much to the future and the challenges that lie ahead."
McGeady is currently struggling with a knee injury and had to withdraw from the Republic of Ireland squad to play San Marino in a European qualifier tomorrow.
