Bray Wanderers 0 Cork City 2 Goals in each half from Colin Healy made it three wins in a row for Cork City to keep John Caulfield's men still in title contention after victory over Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds with Republic of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane in attendance.

Bray had one early effort when winger Adam Hanlon shot straight at goalkeeper Mark McNulty from 20 yards.

In the 11th minute Cork’s Billy Dennehy and Bray’s Dave Scully were sent off after the second official adjudged the pair had squared up to each other with their heads.

Cork took the lead on 17 minutes after Garry Buckley had been fouled by Adam Mitchell. Healy’s free-kick from 25 yards was hammered into the corner of the net with goalkeeper Stephen McGuinness touching the ball in off the post.

Bray did have a chance early in the second half only for Healy to block a shot by Dean Zambra. But straight up the other end, Gearóid Morrissey sprinted past three defenders and might have stretched City's lead only for McGuinness to gather the shot. Rampant A rampant Cork went close on 75 minutes when from eight yards Rob Lehane headed just wide. McGuinness then blocked another effort by Lehane. The striker fired over the rebound and was again off target in the final seconds when well placed. But Lehane was to have the final say on 89 minutes when he was taken down inside the box by Mitchell – who was shown the red card. Healy made no mistake with the resulting penalty.
