Bray Wanderers 0-1 St Patrick's Athletic:Declan O'Brien was the hero for St Patrick's Athletic as his winner kept Bray Wanderers firmly rooted at the bottom of the Premier Division table while new Saints manager Pete Mahon picked up his first win.

Bray have struggled for home form in recent months and tonight was no different at the Carlisle Grounds as they recorded their second defeat at home in four days after Drogheda also left with all three points.

O’Brien took his chance after 28 minutes to help ease relegation fears for the Richmond park outfit as they moved six points clear of the play-off places.

O’Brien’s first league goal was the direct result of a route one attack. Dave Partridge fired a long ball out which caught-out the Bray defence before O’Brien lobbed keeper Chris O’Connor from 30 yards with a fine first time effort.
