Wigan 2-3 Chelsea:Chelsea winger Arjen Robben scored a stunning late winner as Jose Mourinho's side kept up the pressure on Manchester United at the top of the Premiership.

The Blues looked on course for an easy victory as they cruised into a two-goal lead after half an hour with goals from stand-in captain Frank Lampard and Salomon Kalou.

But Wigan produced a storming comeback, with £5.5million club-record signing Emile Heskey scoring twice, only for Robben to strike in the third minute of injury-time with a superb individual goal.

After Heskey was booked in the 73rd minute for clattering into Ricardo Carvalho, the England striker grabbed Wigan's equaliser.

Svetoslav Todorov and substitute David Cotterill worked the overlap down the right, with
the latter's cross finding Josip Skoko at the far post where he drove in a shot for an apparently offside Heskey to tap home.

Chris Kirkland saved his side late on by tipping Carvalho's header over the bar, but was beaten in the third minute of injury-time by a superb individual effort from Robben.
