Irish round-up: Shelbourne edged ahead of Derry and Linfield in the race for the remaining Setanta Cup semi-final berths after a 3-0 win at Glentoran tonight. Derry's historic meeting with Linfield ended in a 0-0 draw.
A Jason Byrne double, either side of an Ollie Cahill strike, earned all three points and moved Shels top of Group Two on eight points, one point ahead of Linfield.
Derry, who hosted Linfield at the Brandywell for the first time in three and a half decades, remain in contention but will need to win when the visit Tolka Park in the group's final round of matches next Monday to have any chance of reaching the knockout stages.
