Wigan owner Dave Whelan has ruled out the possibility of striker Amr Zaki returning to the club.
The Latics had the Egypt international on a season-long loan last season and he impressed during the early stages of the campaign.
However, after his goals dried up he then infuriated Wigan after going Awol while on international duty.
Despite his antics, Zaki retained hope Wigan might push through a deal, but Whelan has now dashed his hopes.

"Zaki is difficult to control," explained Whelan in The Sun. "When you get players with indiscipline like him, you just have to wipe your hands of them.
"It's all over with Zaki - full stop."
