St Patrick's - 10 St Gerard's - 3: St. Patrick's put in a fine second half performance to claim this Leinster Schools Junior Cup tie at North Kildare yesterday.

The losers had the better of the opening half exchanges in a game dominated by the wind and led 3-0 at half-time thanks to a penalty by Sam O'Brien.

Brian Sheridan levelled the game with a well-taken penalty in the second half.

They went ahead when Eamon Sheridan crossed the line towards the end of the game. Brian Sheridan kicked an excellent late conversion for the winners.
