In recent months the Coghlan family have been collecting the prizes at Luttrellstown Castle. Eamonn Jnr has become one of their most promising junior members and has seen his handicap tumble. His mother, Yvonne, has also been among the prizewinners. But on Saturday it was the turn of the Chairman of the Boards himself, Eamonn Snr, to make his mark at golf. His score of 72, off 18, was good enough to win class three in the club's medal competition. Another medal to go alongside all his athletics trophies.
