Sunday's Well retained the Cork Charity Cup with a late flurry of scoring at Musgrave Park yesterday.

An injury time try by substitute Fintan Whelan, converted by Mike Kenworthy, gave the Musgrave Park side a flattering victory over a surprisingly good Highfield side.

Had Highfield taken advantage of the dominance they enjoyed up front, they would surely have been celebrating instead. However, Kenworthy and Richard Daly kept their side in the game. Kenworthy kicked two penalties and Daly dropped a goal to respond to two penalties from Andrew Morrissey and another from Fergus Burke before Whelan sealed the victory.
