Former Welsh international Mickey Thomas has had a chequered career since hanging up his boots - including a spell in jail for passing forged bank notes back in 1993 - but he's been trying to sort himself out recently by developing a career in football punditry with BBC Radio Wales. Whether or not that career has any future remains to be seen after an unfortunate moment during last week's FA Cup tie between Swansea and Oldham at a frosty Boundary Park. "What's your post-match verdict," Mickey was asked. "It's f***ing freezing up here," he replied. Deathly silence. Followed by profound apologies to the listeners from BBC Radio Wales. Mickey, it seems, didn't realise he was live on air.
