Ulster v Llanelli, Ravenhill (7.30) - The home side make eight changes and two positional switches to the side that drew in Glasgow at the weekend as coach Alan Solomons experiments. Sheldon Coulter comes in on the right wing, Ryan Constable at outside centre where he will partner Jonathan Bell. Kieron Campbell replaces Brad Free at scrumhalf.
Simon Best switches to loosehead with Clem Boyd starting at tighthead. There is an new second row partnership in Mark Blair and Paddy Johns; the latter captains the team. Neil McMillan makes his competitive debut at openside in place of the injured Andy Ward. Tony McWhirter moves to blindside flanker with Russell Nelson introduced at number eight.
Llanelli will not announce their team until later today.
ULSTER: P Wallace; S Coulter, R Constable, J Bell, T Howe; D Humphreys, K Campbell; S Best, P Shields, C Boyd; M Blair, P Johns (capt); T McWhirter, R Nelson, N McMillan. Replacements: R Weir, J Fitzpatrick, J Davidson, D Allen, N Doak, S Stewart, B Cunningham.
Leinster v Ebbw Vale, Donnybrook (7.0) - Neither team was able to announce a starting XV yesterday due to injuries. Leinster will definitely be without second row Robert Casey who damaged a knee in training last week.
Coach Matt Williams is reluctant to start Malcolm O'Kelly despite the St Mary's man playing 15 minutes of the weekend game. It appears more likely that Trevor Brennan will partner Leo Cullen assuming that both overcome some bumps and bruises. Nathan Spooner has been cleared to play but Andy Dunne's excellent form could see him keep the outhalf spot. Brian O'Driscoll may be on the bench.
