Trailing 6-3 after the first leg, Edenderry turned on the style to beat Wicklow 11-7 in the final of the Peter O'Brien Landscaping-sponsored Provincial Towns Cup at Edenderry on Sunday. After Greg Carew beat Philip Craig in the top match, Edenderry went on to win six of the remaining eight matches. John Sheehan beat Jim Halpenny on the 17th, while Chris Rentes defeated Liam Devlin on the same hole. Frank Leonard, Greg Blong, Michael Nolan and Brian Killen brought the tally to 10 before Eoin Travers and Peter Power halved their matches with Peter Sinnott and Danny O'Brien respectively.
