Tyrone 1-15 Roscommon 1-8: TYRONE, THE Ulster champions, dominated play in the first half at Pearse Park on Saturday and got off to the perfect start with two points from Paddy McNiece.

Roscommon's first attack yielded a goal through Daniel McDermott. Two further points gave the Connacht side a three-point lead but Tyrone responded with scores from Niall McKenna, Kyle Coney and McNiece to draw level.

Coney put Tyrone in front in the 19th minute with a goal to help them to a 1-6 to 1-4 half-time lead.

Bernard McCarthy and Michael Sweeney drew the sides level again three minutes after the restart.

Tyrone regained the lead in the 37th minute with a point from substitute Ronan Tierney and added five further points to set up a semi-final meeting with Meath.
