Lorcan Wyer received a much-needed boost by partnering Golden Hello to victory in the Hardwick Arms Handicap Chase at Sedgefield. Wyer returned to action after five weeks off with a broken wrist when he climbed aboard Dawn Mission in Saturday's Dick Warden Novices' Chase at Wetherby.

But he was immediately back in the wars again when the five-year-old fell at the eighth fence, leaving the Malton-based jockey battered and bruised.

"It's nice to have a winner," said Wyer after the success over Dual Image.
