Apple Music Classical

Not content with the standard Apple Music app, the tech giant has now released a separate version dedicated to classical music. Apple Music Classical looks exactly like the standard Music app, but with one important difference. All the pop, rap, dance, alternative music and metal playlists and recommendations have been stripped away.

In their place are recommendations for different classical genres, playlists for specific composers and a guide to different eras of music. There are sections for different instruments, ensemble playlists and “undiscovered” composers that can help broaden your appreciation of classical music. The interface has also been tweaked to show the necessary details about each track.

If you already subscribe to Apple Music – €11 a month – then the classical music app is included at no extra cost.
