The phased return to the office begins in the Republic of Ireland this week. From today, many workers are returning to their office desks for the first time since the start of the pandemic in March, 2020.

Employers throughout the country – including the Civil Service – have stated they intend to move to a permanent blended working environment, with workers dividing their working time between the office and home.

We would like to hear from workers who returned to the office today, as well as those who have been working from the office already, and those who continue to work from home.

Do you see the return to the office as important?
Are you concerned about Covid-19 in the workplace?
Or will you be working from home for the foreseeable future?
What has your employer decided about how and where you will work in the long-term?
And will you have any choice in the matter?
