Sir, – Further to recent correspondence ("Numbers, infinity and God", January 8th), it is doubtful whether God has the power to make two plus three not equal five: however, large corporations reporting profits have found plenty of ways of making two plus three equal nothing, even in the land of saints and scholars. – Yours, etc,
