The Irish Times Content Studio was created to drive brand stories, engage audiences with commercial content and to enhance the working relationship with our many commercial partners. The objective of Content Studio is to manage the creation and production of The Irish Times' commercial content and to develop third party commercial projects.

The Irish Times is seeking to appoint a Content Studio Editor to lead this dynamic and successful department in the next phase of its development.

The Content Studio Editor will manage the development of content projects in print, online and also in developing areas such as video, audio and event activity.  S/he will ensure that all content delivered for publishing on Irish Times channels is in line with Irish Times house style and standards and adheres to strong internal guidelines on commercial content. A key objective of the role is to ensure smooth delivery of content studio projects for our customers.

The person appointed will have responsibility for developing published concepts, including events, and other new media formats, and will work to project plans developed in collaboration with our sales and editorial departments.

The successful candidate will be a senior journalist who can direct all editorial aspects of this brand content unit. In addition to sound editorial judgement, the person appointed will have a strong awareness of commercial issues and will be able to demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and be comfortable being part of a pitch process directly with commercial partners. S/he will play a key role in supporting commercial objectives while ensuring the editorial integrity and ethos of The Irish Times are fully maintained.
