We would like to appoint an IT Business Analyst to join our Technology Department.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, experienced Business Analyst with a strong technical background and the ability to deliver technical projects in line with the business needs. S/he will demonstrate a good understanding of trends in digital technologies and will have experience working with web applications and documentation outputs.
This position will be responsible for planning and co-ordination of complex IT projects. We require a candidate who is eager to support audience and revenue growth. The person appointed will be the link between technology and the business in achieving our objectives. S/he will work closely with internal departments to establish a clear definition of the scope, process and business requirements and manage those requirements through to delivery using agile and scrum methodologies.
Candidates will have strong communication skills and demonstrate a flair for building relationships as we work in a collaborative team environment. The role requires an analytical approach and the ability to handle changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment to provide quality content for our customers and readers. A background in Software Engineering or Software Support is desirable. Previous experience working with subscription or payments and financial systems will be a distinct advantage. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in and understanding of the media environment.
