We have opportunities for qualified Printers to join our Print Facility in Citywest, a state of the art printing plant where The Irish Times, as well as other publications, are printed.
The main accountabilities of this position will involve the carrying out of the full range of printer/platemaker duties including all Press and CTP systems, reel preparation and reelstand operations.
The ideal candidates will have web offset experience and a good knowledge of newspaper production processes. They will work well as part of a team and also be able to work on own initiative. They will have good attention to detail. They will be enthusiastic about progressing their skills and careers within The Irish Times.
Those appointed will be required to go through various training courses to ensure that they are aware of all Health and Safety and other company procedures.
The position involves working varying shifts and a competitive remuneration and benefits package is available.
