MKC Communications, one of Ireland’s leading full-service public relations and public affairs consulting firms, has announced an expansion of the company’s senior leadership team with the addition of three new directors: Fiona Byrne, Brian Harrison and David Kinch. Alongside co-founders Laurie Mannix and Tim Kinsella, they will drive the further ongoing growth and development of the business.

MKC specialises in reputation management, media relations, crisis management and public affairs for global, multinational and Irish companies, public sector agencies, and not-for-profit organisations. The company’s clients are spread across the corporate, healthcare, energy, transport, technology, professional services, education, and agri-food sectors.

“Our high-performance and very experienced team of people provide unrivalled levels of service and commitment to our clients,” says Tim Kinsella, MKC managing director. “We’re delighted to welcome Fiona, Brian and David to our senior leadership team as we seek further opportunities to enhance the services that we provide our clients and to grow our business on a long-term sustainable basis for the future. Each has made an excellent contribution to the success of our business to date. Their experience, insight and leadership will be instrumental in the further growth of MKC Communications in the years ahead.

“In an increasingly complex corporate and business operating environment,” he says, “having clearly defined communications strategies in place is essential to the achievement of organisational goals and objectives. This is in a context where organisations must consistently demonstrate an authentic mission and values, including their social purpose, sustainability goals and best practice governance in addition to innovation, overall operational excellence, and customer service. These are characteristics on which trust, and advocacy can be built, with communications as a catalyst for overall success.
