Companies from a broad range of sectors came together at the Health & Safety Excellence Awards to show that their strategies change with the times we live in, and that health and safety objectives are now much broader, encompassing physical and mental wellbeing both in and out of the workplace.
Irish industry was well-represented across the 16 prestigious awards handed out in the ceremony, held on June 16th, 2022.
The winners were announced during a hybrid event with a live audience in attendance in the Round Room at Dublin’s Mansion House and others attending an interactive virtual ceremony, which was hosted by author, broadcaster, and comedian Colm O’Regan.

Their head of health & safety, Edward Elder said: “It is a significant achievement to win the Health & Safety Excellence Grand Prix Award.
