Leading M&A legal advisor Philip Lee LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of George Kennedy as a partner in its fast-growing corporate group. George specialises in corporate transactions and has extensive experience advising Irish and international clients on M&A, private equity and other investments. Prior to joining Philip Lee he led the corporate and commercial group in another leading Irish law firm.

The appointment of George Kennedy as partner follows the promotion of Inez Cullen, Anna Hickey and Rebecca McEvoy to corporate partners earlier this year, and brings the total number of corporate transactions partners at the firm to 10.

Philip Lee, previously awarded the accolade of Corporate Law Firm of the Year (2021), has continued to grow its corporate transaction practice in response to buoyant M&A and consolidation activity in the Irish and UK markets. The team has extensive experience advising clients ranging from high-growth companies to market-leading global multinationals across the full range of corporate transactions, including in the areas of M&A, cross-border mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, private equity, venture capital and capital markets transactions. In April this year the firm moved to larger offices in the City of London to support a busy pipeline of cross-border M&A activity.
