Held at the Convention Centre Dublin the Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards celebrated the excellence of the hardworking law industry of Ireland.

The event was hosted by Ivan Yates, Irish broadcaster, and the ceremony highlighted the accomplishments of both individuals and firms across 35 categories. Speeches were delivered from Special Merit Award winners Áine Hynes S.C. and Darren Lalor B.L., as well as Lifetime Achievement Award winner Mr. Justice Michael White.

Irish Law Awards

These awards recognise the finest industry professionals in Irish law. The panel of 18 judges reviewed over a staggering 500 entries from over 200 companies and colleges. Lawyers and law firms from around the country gathered to celebrate the achievements from all aspects of the industry. A wide range of awards from Lawyer of the Year to Corporate Law Team of the Year were featured during the ceremony.

Darren Lalor B.L., winner of a Special Merit Award, expressed his excitement of winning an award, writing online:

“I am beyond delighted to be a recipient of the Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards Special Merit Award 2024. Keep going until something stops you.”

Wendy Doyle of Wendy Doyle Solicitors, winner of the Sole Practitioner of the Year Award relished in her win online as well, declaring:
