Belfast was Titanic’s home, it still is. Titanic Belfast, the world’s most authentic Titanic visitor experience, is located on the spot where the famous ship was designed and launched. Discover the world-famous story through the eyes of those whose hard work and ambition built her in the self-guided Titanic Experience. It offers 10 interactive galleries which tell the true story of RMS Titanic, from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her famous maiden voyage and tragic end, as well as the hopes and dreams of those on board.
Following a recent £4.7 million (€5.5 million) refresh to the Titanic experience, visitors can see more, hear more, and feel more as new light is shed on Titanic’s story and the hopes and dreams of those connected to her. This investment introduced four exciting new themed galleries and you can see the original RMS Titanic artefact collection up close, including the world-famous violin belonging to Titanic’s hero musician, Wallace Hartley and a 7.6m long scale model of RMS Titanic, which rotates and illuminates in sync with state-of-the-art projections for a truly unforgettable experience.
