Danny McCoy, CEO of Ibec, underlined the need for greater support for Irish businesses at this time, saying: “The reopening of the economy must now be matched by a rebooting of our businesses that have been suppressed for over a quarter.
“The Reboot and Reimagining campaign derived by Ibec members is predicated on two objectives: firstly restore consumer confidence to physically return safely to places of business and secondly provide the money supports for enterprises to restart sustainably in the short term.
“The prize from getting this right and timely is an economy that once again can be at the global forefront providing opportunities for all our citizens.”
Commenting ahead of the September event, Jason Ward, vice president and managing director of Dell Technologies Ireland says: “The impact of recent events has meant that every industry has had to embrace a new way of operating, in a remote setting, away from the familiar surroundings of their offices. As we look to the future we need to ensure we help companies to continue to embrace technology and the digital transformation journey they’re now on. Through The Business Show Virtual Summit the team at Dell Technologies want to provide companies with the insights and supports they need to embrace this new environment and equip themselves with the right technologies to succeed well into the future.
Speaking about the event and its emphasis on resilience and recovery, managing director of Dublin Tech Summit and organiser of The Business Show Virtual Summit, Tracey Carney says: “We’re delighted to announce The Business Show’s inaugural virtual summit. Like the companies and individuals involved in our virtual summit, we are pivoting and embracing technology by launching this online alternative to a live event. The Business Show Virtual Summit will be Ireland’s largest virtual summit, offering an opportunity for attendees to examine the impact of Covid-19 on their business, engage with industry experts and business leaders to put strategies in place so that they will be ready to reboot, prepare and strengthen their companies against any future disruption that may lie ahead.”
Hosted within a purpose-built virtual space, The Business Show Virtual Summit will feature all the elements you would expect from a live event including a virtual auditorium, exhibition hall, networking lounge and information booth.
