Leading the Dublin team is managing director of Global Business Services (GBS), Ildiko By, an esteemed global business transformation leader who brings 20 years of international experience in global accounting and operations, financial, planning & analysis (FP&A) and project management

“My role here is very diverse. As a skilled strategic leader, I’m responsible for the strategic direction of the GBS and in developing a high-performance organisation focused on delivery of quality services.

“I have overall responsibility for management of site operations, facilities and administration and I also oversee the fiscal activities of the GBS. I’m a qualified chartered accountant and I come from a finance and accounting background so I have strong business acumen which supports my focus on strategic management.”

Making an impact

“I’m focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships and creating partnerships with the wider business community here in Dublin. The talent within the city is something to celebrate and I’m focused this year on partnering with the local universities to develop opportunities for graduates to grow with us. My ambition is to help cultivate this talent pool, with Trinseo playing its part in upskilling the local industry. I’m also keen to integrate the company with local communities to ensure we’re doing all we can to give back and have a strong social impact. Not only is Trinseo here in Dublin, but we’re here for good.”

Trinseo is currently recruiting for 130 positions across many facets of IT, finance, procurement and cash collections and has launched a major advertising and PR campaign to attract and recruit the right candidates. Commuters and city slickers won’t have failed to notice Trinseo’s bold and bright greeting across billboards, bus shelters and within Heuston Station recently offering passers by a friendly greeting – “Trinseo Anseo!”.

“We’re excited by the talent in Dublin and surrounding areas and we’re looking forward to putting together a diverse team to lead our Global Business Services division. We wanted to announce our arrival in Ireland and connect with local candidates by, quite literally, speaking their language, and so we launched the ‘Trinseo Anseo!’ campaign in late October,” says Ildiko.

Joining the Trinseo Dublin team in September 2021, Nathan Duffy is an IT operational field engineer. “As a new name in Dublin, I was attracted to joining Trinseo because of its energy.
