THE National Rehabilitation Board has awarded a new "Positive to Disability" excellence symbol to 12 leading Irish companies in recognition of their promoting equal opportunities policies in their companies. The first companies to receive the symbol are Aer Rianta, Bank of Ireland, Bausch and Lomb, Intel Ireland, Irish Biscuits, Superquinn, Coca Cola Atlantic, Heinz Custom Foods, Motorola, Semperit, Gandon Enterprises and the National Training & Development Institute.

The symbol is awarded to companies which have good equal opportunities practice in relation to the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce and to doing business with people with disabilities.
