The Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke, yesterday launched a £2.5 million (€3.17 million) scheme to help community and voluntary groups get to grips with the world of technology.
The scheme will allow for grants of up to £100,000 per project from April.
Ms O'Rourke, second from right, said at the launch that the initiative aimed to bridge the digital divide for those yet to benefit from the technology boom. With her are Mr Paul Ryan, left, and Ms Maggie Timoney from eKiosk provider Circle Network and Mr William Golden of NUI Galway.
