“Seven or eight years ago, we recognised that data was a rapidly growing industry and had enormous potential. We could see things around us that were happening in the industry,” said Mr Fitzpatrick.
“We had deep expertise and we were very well positioned to help organisations leverage their data in the digital world.
“This is our first month into a new three-year plan, and we’ve significant projections out to the end of 2027. 2025 is going to deliver 12 new engineering roles. We are ramping up on the sales and marketing side as well.”
That three-year plan will lead to significant growth for the company as is it focuses on AI and analytics, with data quality a major area for companies who want to make the most of the new technology.
“We anticipate a headcount growth of 30 to 35 people across that period, and probably two thirds of that will be in the engineering and AI space,” said Ms Collison. “You can’t have good AI without good data. A lot of what we’re doing in the AI space at the moment is helping come up with innovative ideas and a lot of automation of, for example, repetitive workflows.”
The company recently launched its flagship AI product Kerbi on the Snowflake marketplace. The tool, which is built using the Snowflake Native App Framework, simplifies how businesses manage their data, automating tasks like data transformation and error logging.
The platform can help reduce the cost of implementing a data platform by up to 30 per cent, bringing significant savings and efficiency gains.
