The record price for a Dublin pub was broken again yesterday when The Sheaf o' Wheat licensed premises at Coolock was sold at auction for £4.75 million. The bar was owned by Guinness Group Sales, which sold the Clonsilla Inn last Tuesday for £4.4 million. The Coolock business had a turnover last year of £1.97 million and was bought by Mr Hugh Grainger, who owns Graingers bar at Malahide Road. The joint selling agents were John Younge and Edward J Bohan.
