THE ultimate in designer ale, guaranteed to amaze and delight those important business clients, can be purchased in London next week at Harrods, the prestigious London department store. But be warned! The production run is strictly limited and will be a wallet emptying experience to quench one's thirst and curiosity.

This drop of really old ale has been produced from an ancient Egyptian recipe, maybe brewed and distributed by the entrepreneurial ancestors of the Egyptian Al Fayed brothers, the present owners of Harrods.

It is the most expensive beer in the world and bottle number one in the batch of 1,000 will cost £5,000 more than most of the world's finest wines.

The ale, called Tutankhamun Ale - the Beer of His Majesty, has been re created by an egyptologist, two scientists and Britain's largest brewer, Scottish & Newcastle, from sediment residues in old jars found in a brewery inside the Sun Temple of Nefertiti, queen of the Pharaoh Akenaten, believed to be King Tut's father. Wow. If you can't afford the first premier bottle, then the remaining 999 are a snip at £50 each. Definitely not available at your local off licence. Cheers!
