The Irish Insurance Federation (IIF) and the Irish Brokers Association (IBA) have produced a guide for insurance customers, Insurance and the euro.

The guide points out that there will be no change in the terms and conditions of any policy with the changeover to the euro.

All IIF and IBA members should accept payment of insurance premiums in euro and should pay claims in euro if the customer requests it.
