Professor Brian Hillery of the Graduate School of Business, UCD, has been appointed chairman of Credito Italiano Bank (Ireland). Prof Hillery, a director of the bank for the past two years, is also a director of EuroPlus Research and Management, the asset management arm of the UniCredito Italiano banking group. In addition, he is chairman of the exploration company, Providence Resources. He served as a TD and a senator from 1977 to 1994.
