Telecoms software provider Accuris Networks has become the first Irish company to receive the prestigious HP Business Partner of the Year Award.

At a ceremony in Vienna this week, HP presented Accuris with the accolade in recognition of its efforts in bringing HP OpenCall software to new markets.

Dublin-based Accuris is a member of HP OpenCall's Partner Programme, and uses the software in its flagship product AccuRoam. The AccuRoam platform provides fixed-mobile convergence between cellular and IP-based networks.

"It is momentous to be recognised with such a prestigious award from a company like HP - known world-over for its technological prowess and innovation, as well as for its business leadership," said Aidan Dillon, chief executive of Accuris.

"We truly appreciate the significant endorsement from HP for our AccuRoam solution and the value it brings to the marketplace," he added.
