The third AIB Start-up Night was held in Galway’s Radisson Blu Hotel on Wednesday, May 14th. The academy is a joint venture between The Irish Times and AIB to help people start business by providing information, networking opportunities and the chance to win a place on an intensive training course run by Irish Times Training. These nights are the first stage in the process and connect aspiring entrepreneurs with like-minded people and the wider startup community. The event featured talks from local entrepreneur Michelle Crehan (The Kitchen Restaurant) and Michael FitzGerald (CEO of OnepageCRM), as well as “pitches” by three startups: Mixgreen Foods, George Curley of CGA Technology and Sinead Kenny of Dia Nia Technologiies.
