The AIB Start-Up Academy judges have been working through the hundreds of applications received for this the third year of the Acdmey competition. They have whittled it down to their top 76 companies. Has your start-up made the list?
Making this list is the crucial next step in winning a place on the Academy and one of these companies will eventually win the top prize, worth €200,000. But there's a lot of work before then and companies on this list now have an opportunity to submit a presentation of their start-up idea. These will be evaluated by the judging panel who will reveal their final shortlist on Dec 21st. In the new year a series of events will further shape the competition, leading to an eight-week academy in The Irish Times and resulting in a final event in April to choose the winner.
