GOOD LUCK to the 30 climbers from Gaelectric who are aiming to reach the top of Carrauntoohil this weekend in a bid to raise up to €20,000 for three charities – Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, Renewable World International and United Ways of Cascade County Montana USA.

The climbers intend to erect a 12 volt/50 watt wind turbine, which will provide enough power to pump water from Lake Eighter at the foot of the mountain.
