The British exploration group, Anglesey Mining, has confirmed in a statement with its annual results that it is "reviewing an opportunity relating to a known undeveloped zinc deposit in Ireland which has recently been placed on the market".
Anglesey does not identify the zinc deposit, but industry sources are in no doubt that it refers to the Bula orebody near Navan, Co Meath, which was put on sale earlier this year by the Bula receiver.
