Following the departure of Goodbody's economist Mr Han de Jong for Holland last year, the Margin has learned that Riada's Mr Padraig Garvey is now heading in the same direction to become bond strategist for ABN in Amsterdam.

One advantage of the Dutch capital is apparently that the shops are good and apartments large. With a line like that it may not be long before more join the exodus.
