• Margaret Hayes was a secretary general at the Department of Tourism, Sport and Recreation until her retirement in 2002.
• Ray McSharry is a former European commissioner for Ireland and was minister for finance from 1987 to 1989.
• Anthony Spollen, an internal audit consultant, is a former head of group internal audit at AIB.
• Frank Daly was until earlier this year chairman of the Revenue Commissioners. He is chairman of the Commission on Taxation.
• Rory O'Ferrall is a former senior accountant with Deloitte who has specialised in insolvency work with the firm.
• Tom Considine is a former secretary general of the Department of Finance. He retired two years ago.
• Vivienne Jupp, a former senior executive with Accenture, is a member of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.
• Declan Collier became chief executive of the Dublin Airport Authority in 2005. He previously worked for Exxon-Mobil.
• John Purcell retired as Comptroller and Auditor General in May after holding the position for almost 14 years.
• Eddie Sullivan is a former secretary general at the Department of Social and Family Affairs.
• Dick Spring is a former tánaiste, Labour leader and minister for foreign affairs. He is currently vice-chairman of Fexco.
• Adrian Kearns is the outgoing chief executive of the National Development Finance Agency, a role from which he is retiring.
• Joe Walsh, a former Fianna Fáil TD for Cork South West, served for almost 10 years as minister for agriculture.
• Ann Riordan, who previously worked with Microsoft, sits on the council of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.
• Alan Dukes is a former Fine Gael leader and was minister for finance in the Fine Gael-Labour coalition during the mid-1980s.
