Radiator and plastics group Barlo has acquired PSC, a plastics firm based in Zilina, Slovakia, for up to €13.6 million (£10.7 million). Barlo says the acquisition continues the group's expansion in the European plastic sheet market.

PSC, which employs 115 people, is engaged in the production and sale of acrylic resin and extruded acrylic sheet. The consideration consists of €7.8 million for the share capital - €5.6 million on completion and up to €2.2 million over next six months - and €5.8 million for the discharge of the company's debts. The final consideration will be based on the valuation of the stocks on completion.
